Beach Bus to Resume Summer Service
The first Beach Bus ride of 2013 departs on June 18.
The City of La Cañada will again sponsor the Summer Beach Bus Program providing transportation for beach goers from the Crescenta Valley to the Santa Monica Pier.
Bus service, a popular option for folks in La Cañada, Montrose and La Crescenta, is offered from June 18 to Sept. 2 on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and on Labor Day. The bus departs from Memorial Park at 9:45 am and returns to La Cañada around 4:55 pm.
The round trip fare for all children and adults is $3 and $1.50 for senior citizens (60+) and disabled passengers.
