Shira recently returned to the southland after spending 6 months working in Cambodia with a nongovernmental organization that trains women in factories in business and leadership and advocates with labor unions and the Cambodian government on their behalf. She is a published author, avid traveler, loves the outdoors, snowboarding and hiking in the Angeles National Forest and has spent time working for numerous local nonprofit organizations.
