Or for free you can go see the La Canada Flintridge float being decorated up close in the FlintridgeRead More Prep parking lot under the 210 bridge at Foothill Blvd. You can also sign up to decorate the float personally. The LCF is one of the few remaining self-built floats. http://www.lcftra.org/

I think the big problem is that we Americans have lost our spirit. Remember what great fun it was toRead More drive down to the Griffith Park light show? It warmed my heart to see families walking around with their kids all bundled up and glowing with the Christmas spirit. Tom LaBonge vowed that the event would only have to be canceled one year due to a "pipe being repaired". And it never came back. How's that pipe coming, Tom? We need higher quality politicians all around, and we need to boot the disingenuous ones out of office.

I'm all for adopting pets and preventing animals from having to be put down, but I've noticed a veryRead More disturbing sight lately. More poop! Either dog owners are lazy or they just don't care anymore about picking up after their pets. Most noticeable are they people who bring their pets in their car somewhere to walk them. Notice when they come back they are never carrying a #2 bag. You can't convince me that these dogs never go #2. I did notice one rare couple walking their dog last weekend where the gentleman was walking with a fistful of poop under his mitt. Just the sight of that alone would discourage me from ever getting a dog. I wonder how many of you so called "dog lovers" would walk back a mile to the car from the hiking a trail holding a fistful of warm smelly poop. Hardly any I'm willing to bet.
