Flintridge Preparatory School

<p>Flintridge Prep is an independent, coed, college preparatory day school for grades seven through 12.</p> <p>Headmaster and history teacher Peter Bachmann equated his school's philosophical resemblance to the island of Shakespeare's <em>The Tempest</em>, and the teachers to the play's hero, Prospero, who provides the characters on the island with an opportunity to realize their potential for learning. In the same way the fictional characters are ready to leave the magical, sheltered island and enter the larger world with lessons learned, so are graduates of Flintridge Prep, Bachmann points out on the school's website. </p> <p><b><br /></b></p>
