Blog: Adoptable Pets at the Pasadena Humane Society & SPCA

Adoptable pets at the Pasadena Humane Society and pet safety tips for the holidays.

The holiday season is in full blast. These four, wonderful animal companions would love to find a loving forever home.

The Pasadena Humane Society & SPCA strongly encourages you not to purchase pets as gifts. Instead, purchase a gift certificate to cover the cost of a shelter animal adoption. This will help ensure a positive match between person and pet and reduce the number of pets that are returned.

A318692  – Buddy is a super sweet one-year-old Great Dane mix. He’s a staff and volunteer favorite and is one big love bug. His adoption fee is $120.

A317189  – Godiva is a 10-year-old brown tabby. She’s very sweet and affectionate and loves to be held. Her front paws were declawed before coming into our care. She’d be a great indoor cat.

A316629 – Poppy is a two-year-old brown female rabbit. She’s a curious bunny and can be shy at first, but she warms up quickly. Her adoption fee is $30.

A318914 – Jonny is one unique little fella. He was born with only one eye. That doesn’t stop him from being sweet and affectionate. He’d be a great addition to a loving, attentive family. His adoption fee is $70. Contact an adoptions counselor for more information about him at (626) 792-7151.

The adoption fee includes the animal’s spay/neuter surgery, a microchip, the first set of vaccinations, as well as a free follow-up health check at a participating vet. New adopters will receive complimentary health and wellness exam from VCA Animal Hospitals. Ask an adoptions counselor for more information during your visit.

Call the Pasadena Humane Society & SPCA at 626.792.7151 and refer to the animal’s “A” number, or visit us  at 361 S. Raymond Ave in Pasadena. Adoption hours are 11-4 Sunday, 9-5 Tuesday –Friday and 9-4 Saturday. Pets may not be available for adoption and cannot be held for potential adopters from phone calls or email. Directions and photos of all pets can be found atwww.pasadenahumane.org.
