Drew's Voice Foundation Tackles Bullying at Wrestling Match

The Ferraro family formed Drew's Voice--an organization working to prevent bullying in local schools--following the suicide of Drew Ferraro, 15. His parents say that he was bullied at CVHS and now work to educate people about ending bullying.

Bullying and wrestling might sound like a uncanny combination, but for Drew Ferraro's cousin, Jake Alexander, it's a passion and a way to tell Drew's story.

Family and friends gathered at an Empire Wrestling Federation fundraiser  Saturday. Ferraro, 15, Feb. 10 from the roof of a building at Crescenta Valley High School.

Saturday's professional wrestling event hosted bands, wrestlers and fans. The event bolstered support for the Crescenta Valley family's foundation, Drew's Voice

"Like most people in our family I was left asking the question 'What could I have done?' and that then turned into 'What can I do?' The answer to both of those questions is this fundraiser," Alexander said.

While the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department detective investigaitng the teen's death has said bullying was not a factor, Ferraro's family disagrees.
