Softball: San Marino Defeats LCHS 10-2
Despite San Marino's win, the Spartans are still at 7-2.
The Spartans girls' softball team was hit with a firestorm of early offense when it faced San Marino a few days ago en route to a 10-2 defeat on San Marino's home turf, according to the recap in the Pasadena Sun.
San Marino pitcher Michelle Floyd was solid against the traditionally powerful Spartan lineup, striking out seven batters while surrendering six hits and three walks.
But the Spartans are still 7-2, with a 3-1 record in league play.
