Girls Soccer: Tologs to Face San Clemente in Division 1 Finals Friday at Mission Viejo HS

Game time is 7:30 p.m.

The CIF-Southern Section announced Wednesday that the Flintridge Sacred Heart-San Clemente Division I girls soccer championship game will be played at Mission Viejo High School on Friday at 7:30 p.m. The Tologs are the designated home team.

The third-seeded Tologs advanced to Friday's game after topping No. 2 Esperanza 1-0 in overtime Tuesday on Alyssa Conti's goal in the 84th minute.

No. 1 San Clemente needed penalty kicks to beat Santa Margarita 2-2 (4-2) in its semifinal matchup.

This is the Tologs' first appearance in a CIF-SS final in their 17-year history. FSHA lost to Beckman in last year's Division II semifinals.

San Clemente enters the game ranked No. 2 in the nation according ESPN Rise, while the Tologs check in at No. 3.
