10 Local Players Named All-CIF Southern Section in Basketball

The Flintridge Prep and La Canada boys basketball teams each took home a CIF-Southern Section divisional title this year, and now they have some extra hardware to add to their respective trophy cases.

The Rebels' 6-foot-8 center Kenyatta Smith was named the Division 5AA Player of the Year, and the Spartans' Mike McGlashan and Matt Faber shared the Division 3AA Player of the Year award. Rebels coach Garrett Ohara and Spartans coach Tom Hofman  received Div. 5AA and Div. 3AA Coach of the Year honors, respectively.

Division 4A Boys:
