In the end, the , who included faculty, coaches and athletes from Flintridge Prep’s Athletic Council on Leadership, lost to their disabled opponents. The event was organized by eighth grader PJ Fellows as part of her community impact project, said Prep's Director of Communications Nicole Trevor.

Fellows and her classmates hosted the wheelchair sports demonstration in coordination with the Rancho Los Amigos Rehabilitation Center Wheelchair Sports Program. The program was founded in 1987 and is the model followed by similar wheelchair athletics programs across the country.

"All the participants played hard and share a common bond–a love for sports,'' Trevor said.
