Video: LCF Coaches Commend their Players at Council Meeting

Flintridge Sacred Heart Soccer Coach Frank Pace and Flintridge Prep boys basketball coach Garrett Ohara tout their teams' athletic and academic ability.

Like proud papas, two La Cañada Flintridge coaches commended their players this week for seasons incredibly well played.

Frank Pace, head coach for Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy's championship soccer team, and Garrett Ohara, boys basketball coach for Flintridge Prep, whose team won its first-ever CIF title this year, addressed La Cañada Flintridge City Council Tuesday night. Council members awarded each player a certificate of recognition for their achievements.

The Flintridge Prep Rebels won the Div. 5AA title in March — the first CIF-SS boys basketball title in school history. The Tologs soccer team also made history with the first divisional title in the team's 17-year existence.
