The legions of Troy gathered together for the annual luncheon that honored USC President C.L. Max Nikias and his wife, Niki, and actress Marlo Thomas.

Hundreds of USC supporters turned up at the Beverly Hilton's International Ballroom last Tuesday for the annual benefit luncheon sponsored by Town & Gown of USC, the university’s oldest support organization, according to the San Gabriel Valley Tribune.

Chaired by Michele Engemann of Pasadena and Vicki McCluggage of La Canada Flintridge, the event featured the fashions of Robert Ellis of Studio City and paid tribute to USC President C.L. Max Nikias and his wife, Niki, and actress Marlo Thomas.

USC’s Town & Gown members have awarded $1.4 million in scholarships to 157 students this year. Since 1904, the organization has given $50 million to students.
