St. Francis Drumline to Perform at Youth Day
The high school's varsity drumline has spent weeks preparing for the event, where students from across California and other western states participate in a day of liturgy, workshops and entertainment.
The St. Francis High School Varsity Drumline hopes to energize a filled-to-capacity crowd at the Anaheim Convention Center when they perform during the opening rally at Youth Day 2012 on March 22.
The young men on the Varsity Drumline have spent weeks preparing for this opportunity to perform on stage and the team is excited about participating in the Youth Day festivities. You may find more information about the various events at the Youth Day website by clicking here.
Youth Day is held annually on the Thursday of the Religious Education Congress weekend. All high school students are invited to attend the day-long event at the Anaheim Convention Center just across from Disneyland. Youth Day offers an opportunity for students — not only from the Los Angeles Archdiocese but throughout California and the western states — to come together and share in Liturgy, workshops, entertainment and to experience the energy of a Youth Day Rally.

The theme for this year’s Youth Day is "Called Out: Challenge Accepted." We are called out to serve others and share the Good News. We say "challenge accepted'' when we are God for others, and become the light that leads others out of the darkness.
