St. Francis Crowned National Sports Medicine Champion
The Golden Knights earned the title of National Champion of the Alert Services (Small Schools) Division, and overall AACI National Championship runner-up. Nine St. Francis students, including two juniors, also achieved All-American status
Several St. Francis students recently earned the title of National Champion of the Alert Services (Small Schools) Division and overall AACI National Championship runner-up in the Inaugural National High School Sports Medicine Championships.
Nine St. Francis students, including two juniors, also achieved All-American status by placing in the top 25 of the division, according to a school press release.
The American Academic Competition Institute (AACI) released the results earlier this month of the Inaugural National High School Sports Medicine Championships that took place on May 21. AACI’s goal is to give students from across the nation an opportunity to excel in their chosen areas of study through online competition and testing.

AACI developed the online National High School Sports Medicine Championships to help test and celebrate high school students’ Sports Medicine/Athletic Training knowledge.
In an effort to reduce the high costs of creating a national championship, and in order to ensure that all qualified participants have the opportunity to compete at the national level, AACI created an online event to challenge the minds of high school students.
