School Memorial Features Photo Collage of Teen (Gallery)

As the flowers, candles and candy multiplied outside the entrance to CVHS, one poster showed a 15-year-old's life in photos, another showed where you can bring flowers to commemorate him.

The memorial for Drew Ferraro at the entrance of Crescenta Valley High School has mushroomed, with dozens of floral bouquets, "Rest in Peace'' candles and a photo collage spanning several of his 15 years.

On Tuesday, as every CV High kid , and even kids across town at  were expected to don black to honor the boy who authorities plunged to his death on purpose, the community continued to grieve Friday's tragedy.

"Every kid, every staff member, every faculty member will get a valentine,'' Amy Jahnke, co-organizer of Have a Heart: Contagious Love for Crescenta Valley High School said, her eyes wet with emotion. "We, as a community are here to support them and we're here if they need us,'' said Jahnke.
