Outgoing Miss LCF: From Tomboy to City Royalty (Video)

Robin Miketta, who passed her crown to Miss LCF 2012 Lauren Barsamian, gave this farewell speech at the La Cañada Flintridge Chamber of Commerce and Community Association's recent Centennial celebration.

Robin Miketta passed her Miss La Cañada Flintridge crown on to Laura Barsamian at last week's La Cañada Flintridge Chamber of Commerce and Community Association's Centennial Celebration, but not before a sentimental farewell speech at the . Smiling beneath her diamond crown, the La Cañada resident shared that she's as comfortable poised in high heels and wearing makeup, as playing soccer, with dirt smeared across her face.

In addition to Barsamian, the new reigning court is comprised of Sarah Bartine, Joelle Dorse and Amy Young, all of , and Kendall Millard of Westridge School in Pasadena.

The Miss LCF contest awards a $500 scholarship to Miss La Cañada-Flintridge and $250 scholarships to each of the four members of her court. The Royal Court acts as representatives of LCF at various community events and activities throughout their year-long reign.
