Ms. Wenn has served in the La Cañada Unified School District since 2006.  She was the Principal of Palm Crest Elementary School from 2006–2010 and has served as Principal of La Cañada High School 7/8 for the past three years.  She will move to the District Office on July 1, 2013.

The appointment is in keeping with Superintendent Wendy Sinnette’s 2012-2013 goals, one of which is to create long-term organizational plan for District-level positions to ensure seamless succession and leadership within the District. Both the strategic planning and leadership required to implement the new Common Core State Standards, as well as the District’s ongoing focus on best practices in teaching and learning, require additional targeted leadership in the District’s Educational Services Department.  According to Sinnette, “Anais’ impeccable track record as a leader in curriculum and instruction will infuse the District’s Educational Services with energy and renewed vision – providing support to all of our school sites as we begin to tackle Common Core.”
