La Canada Takes Baseball League Title, Monrovia Finishes Second
The Spartans are the lone league champs following a tie between Temple City and Monrovia.
La Canada baseball held onto their Rio Hondo League title this week with a record of 13-7 overall, 8-4 in the league, according to the Pasadena Sun.
La Canada was faced with the risk of sharing their crown, but a tie between Monrovia High School and Temple City High School Thursday cemented La Canada as the league’s lone champs.
Monrovia High School finished second in the league.
