La Cañada School Board Making Common Core Presentation Tuesday

Have you heard of Common Core? If not, it turns out you are not alone. 

Two recent polls by found that the majority of respondents had never heard of the federal benchmarks, according to the U-T San Diego. Common Core will replace existing standardized tests in public K-12 schools in 2014.

At Tuesday's La Cañada Unified School District Governing Board meeting, the board will make a presentation about its implementation plan of the Common Core standards in the district. Click here to see the full agenda
