La Cañada Flintridge Educational Foundation Donates More Than $2 Million to School District

Over the last three years, the foundation has raised approximately $6,500,000 for the school district.

The La Cañada Unified School District is set to receive a check for more than $2 million from the La Cañada Flintridge Educational Foundation for the upcoming school year, according to the La Cañada Sun

The La Cañada Flintridge Educational Foundation is run by volunteers that raises funds through donations and other activities.

“As public school funding in California continues to come in at historically low levels, the members of this community have proven once again that we can and will do what we must to protect the education of our children,” Craig Mazin, president of the foundation, said in a statement, according to the Sun.

Over the last three years, the foundation has raised approximately $6,500,000 for the school district, according to its website.
