Girls' Lacrosse: LCHS Takes Down Glendale in Sudden Death

The Spartans are now at 2-5, with a 2-1 record in league play.

Sophomore Christine Noh iced a sudden-death, 15-14 win against Glendale, capping a girls' lacrosse battle that lasted more than two hours, according to a report in the La Canada Valley Sun.

Paige Milne (seven goals) and Tiffany Chen (four goals) also scored big for the Spartans, helping to drop Glendale to a 1-8 record.

According to the Valley Sun, Noh's game-winning chance came unexpectedly, at least to her.

“I was shocked the ball came right back to me,” said Noh, who finished with four goals, to the Valley Sun. “I thought [Glendale goalkeeper Jenina Villabroza] caught my original shot and then cleared it."

The two teams will face each other again at 3:30 p.m. April 9 at Moyse Field.
