Women’s History Month: Schiff Accepting Nominations For Outstanding Women

Know of a woman who makes a difference in your community? Nominate her for Rep. Adam Schiff's annual award.

In honor of Women’s History Month in March, Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Burbank, is recognizing outstanding women in his district.

The annual recognition honors women from the 28th Congressional District, including Montrose, Pasadena, Glendale, La Canada Flintridge, Burbank, Silver Lake, West Hollywood, Hollywood, Echo Park, among other cities and communities.

Residents are encouraged to nominate women in their communities. According to a press release from Schiff’s office, there are no specific criteria for nominations. Winners of the award would typically be women whose volunteerism or service has improved the quality of life in their community.
