Storm Barriers to Stay on Streets
They've displeased hillside homeowners, but the storm barriers, K-rails, deflect debris and mudflow away from homes and need to stay put for another year or so. The concrete rails have lined hillside streets since the aftermath of the 2009 Station Fire.
