State of the City Address Highlights LCF Downtown Development

Outgoing Mayor Steve Del Guercio wrapped up his time on the City Council earlier this week.

La Canada Flintridge's rebooted downtown, a retooled bridge and a renovated website were among the high points discussed by departing mayor Steve Del Guercio during the annual State of the City address to the Kiwanis Club earlier this week, according to a report in the La Canada Valley Sun.

The presentation, which took place at Descanso Gardens, also highlighted the funding of a trio of sound walls along the 210 Freeway, with construction slated to begin next year. Del Guercio also noted that the city has a solid financial outlook.
