The city of La Canada Flintridge adopted its General Plan at the Jan 22 City Council meeting, detailing its vision for how the quiet, semi-rural city will develop over the next 20 years.
In the plan, the city discusses long-range preservation and conservation of open spaces, while looking at available land for housing, businesses, waste disposal facilities and other private and public land use.
The plan is used as a “constitution” for future development and guides the city in future development policy.
