La Cañada City Council Passes on Studying Plastic Bag Ban

Despite residents and speakers from other cities urging the La Cañada City Council to consider studying a ban on single-use plastic bags, the council declined to do so at its meeting on Monday, according to the La Cañada Sun.

“Each person who spoke tonight has made their own decision about the use of plastic bags,” said Councilman Don Voss, according to the Sun. “They did not need an ordinance to help them with that decision.”
