Educational Foundation Presents $2M Check to LCUSD

$2 million surpasses previous donation amounts from the community to the La Cañada Unified School District.

Members of the La Cañada Flintridge Educational Foundation Board of Directors have presented a check for $2 million to Governing Board President Scott Tracy and Superintendent Wendy Sinnette.

"This check represents a record amount of the Foundation's gift to the district this year, and we want to thank everyone for doing their part to support our schools,” LCFEF President Paul Murray said of the January donation.

"We are thrilled and grateful to the community for its record-breaking financial support of our schools,” Tracy added.

LCFEF is a non-profit foundation that supports the district in numerous ways, including the funding of smaller class sizes, music, art and drama in the elementary schools, 7/8 orchestra, funding for the high school college counselors and library support staff.
