Vodka Bandit Hits Ralphs Again

Security cameras show a man who appears to be the same suspect from earlier burglaries pushing a cart away from the store.

An unidentified man has boosted another three cases of vodka from marking the third time in two months that the booze bandit has struck the store. 

According to a police report from the the suspect made off with 24 glass bottles of Absolut Vodka, worth $623.76, and 12 bottles of Grey Goose, totaling $479.88. 

The employee at Ralphs, 521 Foothill Blvd., reported to deputies on Aug. 2 that she found three empty vodka cases discarded near the liquor aisle. The store was twice burglarized in July, the report states, noting on both occasions vodka was removed from the cases, conceleaed, and taken out of the store by the same man.

The store’s video surveillance indicated that the Aug. 2 suspect appeared to be the same person who burglarized the store in July. He carried a similar bag as the July burglar, and was last seen leaving the store pushing a cart.
