A vehicle went over the side of Angeles Crest Highway late Friday in La Canada Flintridge, and rescuers searched the area for the driver and any other possible occupants, a county fire official said.
The crash was reported at 5:19 p.m., said Art Marrujo of the Los Angeles County Fire Department. He said the vehicle plunged 100 to 200 feet.
"The vehicle went over the side and we're looking for the driver now," Marrujo said just after 6 p.m.
