Two Suspects Arrested in String of Red Bull Thefts

Suspected Red Bull Bandits booked on charges of burglary Friday after allegedly being caught in the act.

Edgar Khasemyan, 29 and Masis Mirzayan 35, both residents of Tujunga, were booked on charges of burglary for allegedly stealing 51 cans of Red Bull from the La Crescenta Friday evening.

Deputy Frank Diana of the recognized suspect Khasemyan from surveillance footage of several . In one such alleged theft, 501 cans of the energy drink were reportedly stolen.

In a prepared statement, Sgt. Ray Harley reported that detectives are investigating the possible involvement of the suspects in additional Red Bull thefts in nearby cities including Santa Clarita, Glendale, South Pasadena, and Monrovia. Both Khasemyan and Mirzayan have been released on bond.
