Police Release Identity of Escaped Robbery Suspect

Kenneth Lee, 44, was on parole for burglary, according to Glendale Police.

Glendale Police have released the photo and name of the suspect who eluded capture Tuesday following a chase that ended in La Canada Flintridge: Kenneth Lee, 44, who apparently lived with his parents in the 1100 block of Descanso Drive.

Authorities had been patrolling a burglary-prone Glendale neighborhood when they spotted a suspicious vehicle. It appeared the driver was casing the area of Chevy Chase Canyon and Emerald Isle, according to Glendale Police Sgt. Tom Lorenz. After officers attempted to pull over the vehicle, and the driver took off, police chased the car to where Lee's parents live.

"We found burglary tools inside his vehicle; it appears he was casing the area,'' Lorenz said Tuesday, pointing out that Lee is in the Post-Release (County Level) Community Supervision program.
