Missing Lancaster Woman Identified as Angeles Crest Crash Victim

Investigators with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Homicide Bureau have identified the victim of a deadly crash that was discovered below Angeles Crest Highway, Jan 12.

Corinne Sinatra, 52, from Lancaster, was found inside a vehicle over the side of Angeles Crest Highway at mile marker 41.32, said Sheriff's Sergeant Carmen Arballo in a written statement.

Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department issued a press release one week ago seeking information in locating Sinatra, who was last seen driving a white Toyota Yaris in the 3000 block of West Avenue J-4 on Jan. 6 at 9:50 a.m.

It has not yet been revealed why Sinatra went missing, but investigators are treating the death as a possible suicide, said Lieutenant Angela Shepherd of the Crescenta Valley Sheriff's Station.
