Have any Items to Donate to the CV Station's Rummage Sale?

Proceeds from the event benefit the Crescenta Valley Sheriff's Station volunteer programs.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Volunteer group from Crescenta Valley Station is once again having their annual Rummage Sale at the station on Saturday June 1, 2013, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. We are asking assistance from our community to please donate items that may be resold at our event.

This is a great opportunity to clear your garage and closet of items that you do not use or need anymore.  We will accept gently used clothes, toys, furniture, sporting equipment, housewares, and small electronic equipment.  All the proceeds go directly to the station volunteer fund which helps support many of the station community programs. Some of these programs include our Annual Toy and Food Drive, Volunteer’s on Patrol, Neighborhood Watch Programs, Arson Watch, and many of the outreach community events. This is the only fundraiser for the year.

In 2012 the Crescenta Valley Station Volunteers worked over 11,000 hours, saving the Sheriff’s Department nearly $260,000. The station currently has 51 volunteers donating their free time to make this Station a better place, allowing our station personnel to better serve the community.

If you have items to donate, you can simply drop them off at the Crescenta Valley Station located at 4554 Briggs Ave, La Crescenta.  If you need us to pick-up the items from your location you can contact Deputy Jorge Valdivia at (818) 236-4021/Jvaldiv@lasd.org to schedule a pick-up.
