La Crescenta mother Megan DiPiazza is listed as a voluntary missing person and police cannot discuss further details of the case at this time, according to Glendale Police Sgt. Tom Lorenz.
DiPiazza was last seen by her husband at their Sunland home, CBS2 reported. Detectives Tuesday found her purse and a goodbye note at her apartment.
DiPiazza's family and friends asked Friday for the public's help via DiPiazza's Facebook page:
Unfortunately we have no news on Megan DiPiazza. Her husband Sal Di Piazza is asking that anyone who is near a hospital or a rehab center ANYWHERE to just drive through a parking lot if you are nearby to see if her car is there.. 2013 Scion 2 door hatchback charcoal gray license plate 6XJR855., if you happen to be near one and see this car-please do a quick cruise through and see if you see anything. The new HIPA laws prevent them to release info to anyone-even her husband!! Thank you!!! This woman has a family, friends, and a 5 year old son who misses her tremendously!!
DiPiazza has a history of depression, according to police in a prepared statement. There is no indication of foul play. No suspicious activity has been identified.
Police told the Pasadena Star-News that investigators believe DiPiazza is with people she knows, but authorities would not release specific details.
She is described as 33-years-old, with blond hair, green eyes, 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 122 pounds.
Her vehicle is a 2013 Gray Toyota Scion plate number 6XJR885 (Vehicle may not have any plates on it).
Anyone with information that would lead to her whereabouts, please contact Glendale Police Sgt. Jeff Newton at (818) 548-3987 or (818) 548-4840.
