Equipment Used to Build La Cañada Flintridge Rose Parade Float Reportedly Stolen

The estimated loss is $7,500.

Thousands of dollars worth of equipment being used to build a float for the 2014 Rose Parade was reportedly stolen Saturday night.

The missing equipment includes welding equipment, cables, large extension cords and copper wiring, according to the La Cañada Sun. 

“It’s not just stealing stuff,” sad Ann Neilson, president of the La Cañada Flintridge Tournament of Rose Assn, according to the Sun. “All the good people who support us, they have taken away from those people.”

The estimated loss was $7,500, according to the report, which also said the theft was from a site on Hampton Road.
