The suspect, a Glendale man, was not at the woman's residence when authorities arrived, but the alleged victim told police he'd threatened her over the phone because she "bad mouthed him'' to several mutual high school friends, the report states. The woman told police she'd not spoken to any of those high school acquaintances in five years.
