On July 6, a 60-year-old female reported a grand theft at the 500 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada. She had left her purse on the grocery cart while she was concentrating on what items to buy. When she was at the check-out register, she realized that her Louis Vuitton wallet and all of its contents were missing. The wallet, valued at $800, contained $255 in various currencies. She immediately drove home and cancelled all her stolen credit cards. She was informed that there were numerous charges on her credit card throughout Los Angeles, totaling to approximately $6,300.
