CHP Locates Man Who Crashed on Angeles Crest
Investigation still ongoing, no reason given for a cause of the crash.
Authorities have located and are speaking with the man who reportedly drove his vehicle about 200 feet over
Officers located and spoke with the man Saturday morning between 4:30 and 5 a.m. The driver, only described as a white male, had an abrasion on his forehead and a bruise across his left shoulder caused by his seatbelt, according to Officer Tatiana Sauquillo of the CHP.
No charges have been filed yet.
The driver plunged off the Crest for unknown reasons Friday afternoon. He was able to leave his vehicle, which continued to fall down into the ravine. How he was able to leave the scene of the crash is not immediately known.
Authorities shut down Angeles Crest in both direction for two hours to search for possible victims, but located no one.
The driver's name has not been released, Sauquillo said
