A baby girl was found unconscious near the Stonyvale Picnic Area Friday while Montrose Search and Rescue continued the search for missing .
Rescuers were about 200 yards along Big Tujunga River when they saw a woman panicked, carrying a baby who appeared unconcious, about 5:10 p.m. Friday, Montrose SAR member Fred Koegler told Patch.
The child, whose name was not immediately available, was transported by ambulance up the hill to a helipad off Big Tujunga Canyon Road, where Sheriff's Air 5 transported her to a hospital, sheriff's officials said.
