Shotgun, Assault Rifle Swiped
A 29-year-old La Cañada male told police on April 2 that a Pelican waterproof black shotgun case containing a Binelli 12 gauge shotgun was taken along with a Bushmaster case and AR-15 from his car. The car was parked at 4700 Hampton Road. The items, worth around $2,700, were taken by shattering the rear window of the car.
Robbers Break In to Plunder Plants

A 61-year-old La Cañada male reported a theft at 1300 Foothill Boulevard on March 29. The owner of a local home and gardens business stated that a total of ten rose and cabbage plants had been taken from planters. The robbers took the plants by crossing over a three foot wooden fence.
Burglar Walks Off with Wine Refrigerator and Water Heater

A 35-year-old Artesia male reported a burglarized house at 4100 Dover Road on March 29. A stainless steel wine refrigerator, a stainless steel water heater, as well as two glass doors worth almost $12,000 was taken. The home had been unlocked and unalarmed at the time.
Roofing Materials and Materials Removed from Remodeled Home
A 45-year-old La Cañada male reported a grand theft on March 27. A chain and a lock that were securing the house were found cut. An approximate total of $9,000 in roofing materials and tools was taken. The items were taken from the driveway, the carport, and the backyard of a home being remodeled on 4500 Angeles Crest Highway.
