UPDATE: 2 Motorcyclists Killed on Separate Los Angeles County Roads
Two separate fatal accidents happened Sunday on the westbound Ventura (134) Freeway and Angeles Crest Highway.
UPDATE, 9:18 p.m.: According to the CHP, one victim in the Angeles Crest Highway accident has been identified as Patrick Ramirez, 45, of San Dimas. The deceased, a 25-year-old male, has not been identified, pending notification of next of kin.
According to a CHP press release, the unidentified rider was operating a 2000 Kawasaki ZR-7, Ramirez a 2000 Yamaha R6.
The unidentified rider was traveling westbound at an unknown speed while Ramirez was traveling eastbound at 40 miles per hour when, for reasons unknown, the unidentified rider lost control of their motorcycle, was ejected and struck the second motorcycle.

Ramirez was thrown from his motorcycle and collided with the road, sustaining moderate injuries.
Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash.

Previously: Two motorcyclists were killed in separate crashes along Los Angeles County roads Sunday morning and afternoon.
The first crash happened about 9 a.m. Sunday on the westbound 134 Freeway, east of Riverside Drive, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
The motorcyclist possibly hit a type of railing next to the Los Angeles River bike trail, on the right shoulder, CHP reported.
Officials issued a SigAlert at 9:30 a.m. Sunday for the No. 4 lane east of Victory Boulevard to the westbound Ventura (134) Freeway at the Golden State (5) Freeway for an unknown duration, officials said.
A coroner was called to the scene but the victim's name is not immediately available.
A second motorcyclist was killed, another person injured, in a crash on Angeles Crest Highway.
The crash happened around 1:40 p.m. Sunday near mile marker 63.50, according to Tatiana Sauquillo of the California Highway Patrol.
What communities reside south of the crash were not disclosed, but scanner reports from Los Angeles County Fire divulged the crash happened before a series of tunnels, which would place the incident possibly above the communities of Azusa and Glendora, before Highway 39.
About five minutes after the call came in, an LA County fire helicopter was on scene and started CPR on one patient who was eventually flown to an area hospital. The second patient was confirmed deceased at the scene.
At 2:38 p.m., CHP issue a Sig Alert until about 5:30 p.m. Sunday.
How many other people may be involved, as well as the circumstances of the crash remain unknown at this time.
