What's La Cañada's Best Hair Salon? (Poll)

Welcome to another installment of Reader's Choice: where you decide the business who's best at the week's topic. This week: Hair salons.

You don't have to venture too far around town to find an array of hair salons.

Any number of these businesses will pamper their patrons and, if the customers have chosen wisely, receive a nice head massage mid-shampoo. But with 16 in town, how do you choose?

Which do you choose and why? Which hair salon do you believe to be the best in La Cañada? Vote in the poll below and please leave a comment about why you chose it. The voting will continue through 9 a.m. on May 15, at which time the votes will be tallied and a winner named. If there is a tie, the winner will be determined by most favorable comments left on the story.

If the poll is gamed, as was the best pizza poll, we will use positive reviews left on the business' directory listing.

The Reader's Choice Best LCF Hair Salon will receive a certificate and earn bragging rights around town!

These are the salons from which you should choose the best. If we have missed an salon in town, please leave a comment so the list can be ammended. Happy voting!

Just a funny 4 ya: I went to a new salon in Burbank once (they've ince closed). The gal turned my blonde into a purplish-tint like some older ladies get and I calmly suggested she do it over. When her manager saw it and came charging over, the stylist got all thumbs and knocked a freshly opened can of Diet Coke into my fully opened purse. At least it wasn't regular Coke!

Monet Hair Studio Laura Hilton at Monet Studio. My hair is in amazing condition even though she colors it every 5 weeks. I am always offered a variety of things to drink. Beautiful decor.

Tony at On The Edge is the only one I trust with my hair, and I've been going to him for years. All the Ragus women (myself, my mom, my cousin, my aunt) go to On The Edge and we ALL get frequent compliments on our cuts. Tony also specializes in cutting curly hair. Hans is OK for beauty supplies, but they messed up my eyebrows and way overcharge for bang cuts ($15? I think not).
