What Do People in La Cañada Say?

If you spend any portion of your day perusing Facebook you've probably seen a version of a video called "S--t [Insert Person/Place] Says."

These video hits, which are going viral on YouTube, followed the Twitter sensation "S--t My Dad Says,'' by Justin Halpern. The humorous and assorted videos take a comedic glance at how people look at stereotypes.

One of the recent hits, "S--t People from L.A. Say" elicited boisterous laughter from this Burbank resident, who's willingly giving up ample parking and a grassy plot for shared walls and yards of concrete in Downtown Los Angeles.

Some of the lines, particularly about the weather, and whether it was such a hot idea to drive after that third glass of wine, completely hit home for me (caution: the video, which can be viewed at right, does contain some obscenities so probably best not to watch at work).

Funny as it is, much of the video struck me as much more relevant to L.A. proper than to people living on the fringes of Los Angeles. This got my colleague, Altadena Patch Editor Dan Abendschein, thinking about his city....what do Altadena residents say that is unique? - 152 comments as of Tuesday night.

What would a 'S--t People Say in La Cañada' video be like?

While I've not yet hoofed Foothill Boulevard to video local mantras, I would like to hear your input on what people from La Cañada say. Please tell us in the comments section. I started it off with a few quotes, based on my covering this fine city for more than a year, that I can imagine La Cañadans saying.
