La Cañada residents Caroline Bender and Kara Bradley have medaled at the USA Diving National Championship in Greensboro North Carolina.
Bender, a 10th grader at placed 10th in the 14-15 age group for Platform on Aug. 3, and Bradley, an eighth grader at , received the gold in her 12-13 age group for Platform. Bradley also placed eighth on 1-meter earlier in the week, and she will compete in the 3-meter later this week.
Both girls dive for the Rose Bowl Aquatics National Team.
