Patch Blog: Halloween Happenings in LCF

This weekend offers two spooky fun activities in La Canada Flintridge. On Oct. 22 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. join others in the community at for a carnival-type family event with game booths, costume parades and contests, great food, live entertainment, confetti eggs, silly string and a terrific silent auction. This is the largest fundraiser for the elementary school.

The money raised helps fund enrichment programs, maintenance and repairs, updates equipment and helps the school to be one of the top performers in the state of California. The event is free to the public. Tickets for games and food may be purchased inside the event. 4540 Encinas Drive, La Cañada Flintridge.

Also, on Sat. Oct. 22 and Oct. 23, offers a jubilant Harvest Festival with entertaining activities for the entire family. Be sure to arrive by 10:30 a.m. to enter your little ones, dressed in costume, parade through the Gardens. After the parade, the Moo Doo Puppets will perform in the Under the Oaks theatre, a creative and giddy production of “Halloween Sleeping Beauty in Outer Space.” Both activities are free with a paid admission.
