Blog Post: Thursday Club's Casino Night Gets Wonderful Musical Serenade

A surprise treat at the Thursday Club's Casino Night Italiano Style event was a musical serenade by some of the talented La Canada High School Chamber Singers.

Last Friday night at the Thursday Club on Woodleigh Lane, the La Canada Thursday Club had a festive Casino Night Italiano Style. Upon entering every member and guest received an elegant flute of Prosecco and a ticket for $100 worth of gambling chips.

Guests gambled, ate a delicious pasta dinner and bid on many wonderful silent auction items.

One of the highlights of the evening was a musical serenade by three young men from the La Canada High School Chamber Singers. One of the singers, Matt Fung, gave the crowd goose bumps with his rendition of “Se Tu M’ami.” This is the first year Fung auditioned for the award winning LCHS Chamber Singers. He is enjoying the program so much that he will continue to pursue singing in college.
