The City of Glendale’s first-ever TransportAbility Expo aims to demonstrate how easy it can be for older adults and persons with disabilities or mobility impairments to use public transportation.

The Glendale Bee Line provides transportation to La Cañada.

Attendees will be provided free wheelchair tune-ups and tether strap installations so wheelchairs can be easily and safely secured onboard Beeline and other public buses. They also have opportunities to “test ride” the bus – boarding with a ramp or lift, seeing how to pay the fare, finding a seat or having a mobility device secured, and learning how to indicate where to get off.

Discover mobility aids, products, and services from more than a dozen vendors, as well as adaptable vehicles from MV-1.

The event is open to anyone interested in learning about public transportation in Glendale.

It sounds like a good idea. The problem I'm finding that the bus drivers cannot tell us what Bee-Line bus to take us there, especiall those of us that are disabled and those of us in wheelchairs. What's the bus # we take?
