This year, Love Notes is encouraging people all over the world to write Love Notes for this year’s recipients—patients at Huntington Memorial Hospital—and Patch is helping to make it even easier to spread the love.

On Feb. 7 from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Patch invites people of all ages to the Barth Community Room at San Marino’s for a free Love Note-creating event. Paper Love Notes, pens, crayons and stickers will be provided so you can write notes of encouragement to cancer patients and decorate or not decorate them as you wish. The note can be just a simple sentence or two, so don’t worry too much about what to write and just speak from the heart.

If you bring your own materials, please do not bring glitter (which can aggravate some of the patient’s health conditions) or liquid glue.

At the end of the event, Patch will take the Love Notes so they can be delivered to Huntington Hospital patients on Valentine’s Day.

If you can’t attend the Patch event, you can still make a Love Note!

Feel free to share this event with others through facebook, twitter and email.
