Hands Across the Dam

Join us this Saturday on Devil's Gate Dam as we protest County DPW's Too Big Dig in Hahamongna Watershed Park which will scour up to 120 acres bare.  This massive project will require 50 trucks per hour, 425 trucks a day, six days a week for nine months of the year for five years - all these trucks to go by the high school playing fields!  Air pollution and traffic impacts are so significant that they can not be reduced to an acceptable level.  Rare riparian habitat, gone from most of LA County, will be destroyed.  Come and learn more about this project which will have a major impact upon our community.
