A Christmas Carol

The La Canada High School Theatre Department is set to open “A Christmas Carol”, Charles Dickens’ beloved holiday tale appropriate for the whole family.  This ‘ghostly’ tale presents the story of Ebenezer Scrooge, a cantankerous banker visited by four ghosts who show the old miser the error of his ways while teaching him the true meaning of Christmas.  Adding to the festive spirit is the production design for the show which features a complete transformation of the playhouse into a 19th century Victorian theatre with the cast in classic period costumes.

The show runs December 9th through December 11th, at 7:00 pm.  Playing at the La Canada Playhouse (formerly the Auditorium) at La Canada High School, tickets are just $10.00 and the doors to the theatre open fifteen minutes before curtain for open seating.  For more information, please visit www.lacanadaplayhouse.org.
